IDIDIT Steering Column - 1170905020

This Retrofit column is for all the Ford/Mercury fans out there! The Ford style Mercury Comet tilt column features all Ford wiring and will accept your original Comet steering wheel. This column will attach to a modified original gearbox with Borgeson joints. To install, simply remove the old column then cut and modify the shaft on your box into the 3/4"DD shape. Finish the installation of your new column using the original under dash mount and the new model specific floor mount that is included. Once in place, the original Comet wheel will be back in its original location and you'll have gained the convenience of 8-position tilt for that comfortable ride. Standard features include 8-position tilt, Ford turn signal switch, early Ford style knobs & levers, Ford wiring connector, Ford splined top shaft, and a 3/4" 36 lower shaft.
