The front coil spring buckets on these trucks have a protrusion that is very short, offering less than ideal support for the rubber coil spring isolator. When adding lift or leveling kits, this lack of support can cause the rubber isolator and coil spring to slide forward and rub the frame creating noise. There are two different OEM spring isolators that Ram offers on these trucks. The Power Wagon has a rubber isolator with part number 68268825AA which has a smaller inside diameter (3-1/4") and will not fit over this add-on support. Models other than the Power Wagon have a rubber isolator with part number 05168566AB with a larger inside diameter (3-7/8") which is required to fit over this add-on support kit.
