Return Policy
SA Retail Inc is an online-only retailer. All returns are processed by mail. We do not have a physical store location for in-person returns. Please review the eligibility guidelines and instructions below before initiating a return.
1. RETURN ELIGIBILITY BY PRODUCT CATEGORY
Most items may be returned within 30 days of the delivery date, provided they meet all conditions listed below. Return eligibility by product category is summarized in the table below.
2. GENERAL RETURN CONDITIONS
To be eligible for a return, ALL of the following conditions must be met:
a. The item must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date
b. The item must be in its original, unused, and uninstalled condition
c. The item must be in its original packaging with all components, hardware, and documentation included
d. You must have a valid order number or proof of purchase from saretailinc.com
e. The item must not fall under a non-returnable category (see table above)
SA Retail Inc reserves the right to deny any return that does not meet these conditions, or to assess a restocking fee of up to 15% on items returned without original packaging or with signs of handling beyond what is needed to inspect the part.
3. CONSUMABLES & OPENED ITEMS POLICY
For health, safety, and regulatory reasons, the following are not eligible for return under any circumstances:
• Any fluid (motor oil, coolant, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, brake fluid, gear oil) once the seal has been broken
• Chemicals, cleaners, adhesives, sealants, lubricants, and fuel additives once opened
• Refrigerants and compressed gases
• Aerosol products once used or punctured
• Any product that has been mixed, diluted, or partially used
If you received a consumable item that was damaged in shipping or arrived defective, please contact us within 5 days of delivery at [email protected] with photos and your order number. We will review on a case-by-case basis.
4. ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS POLICY
Electrical parts — including but not limited to sensors, control modules, switches, relays, ignition components, and lighting — may be returned only if they are completely uninstalled and in original sealed packaging. Once an electrical component has been connected to a vehicle's electrical system, it is considered used and is not eligible for return, even if found to be incompatible.
We strongly recommend verifying fitment using your vehicle's year, make, model, and engine size before installation. SA Retail Inc is not responsible for installation costs or labor if a part is found to be incompatible after installation.
5. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN
a. Step 1 — Request an RMA: Email [email protected] with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions.
b. Step 2 — Pack your item: Pack the item securely in its original packaging with all components included. Write your RMA number clearly on the outside of the package. Drain all fluids from any parts before packing — parts must be free of all flammable and hazardous materials before shipment.
c. Step 3 — Ship: Ship the package using a trackable carrier to the address provided in your RMA email. Keep your tracking number until your refund is confirmed.
Do not ship a return without an RMA number. Packages received without a valid RMA may be refused or returned to sender at the customer's expense.
6. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
Return shipping costs depend on the reason for the return. See the table below:
SA Retail Inc will provide a prepaid return shipping label via email when we are responsible for the return. SA Retail Inc is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit when the customer arranges return shipping.
7. REFUND PROCESSING
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving the item. Please note:
• Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product
• Refunds may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear on your statement depending on your bank or card issuer
• If an item is returned in a condition not meeting our requirements, we reserve the right to issue a partial refund or return the item to you
8. DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you received an item that is defective, damaged upon arrival, or not what you ordered, please contact us at [email protected] within 5 days of delivery with:
a. Your order number
b. A clear description of the issue
c. Photos of the item and packaging (required for all damage claims)
We will arrange a prepaid return label and replace the item or issue a full refund at no cost to you.
9. CORE RETURN POLICY
What Is a Core?
When a vehicle is repaired, the old failed part that is replaced is called a "core." Many remanufactured parts — such as alternators, starters, water pumps, and brake calipers — carry a core charge at the time of purchase. This charge is refunded when you return the old part (the core) to us, as it is sent back to the manufacturer for remanufacturing.
Your return of any core to SA Retail Inc constitutes a transfer of ownership. SA Retail Inc will be unable to return the core to you once received.
How to Return a Core
a. Drain all fluids from the core completely before packaging
b. Email [email protected] with your order number to obtain a Core Return Authorization
c. Pack the core securely — ideally in the same box the new part was shipped in
d. Ship to the address provided in your Core Return Authorization email using a trackable carrier
Core returns must be initiated within 30 days of your original purchase date. Upon receipt and inspection, the core refund will be credited to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. If the core fails inspection (missing components, excessive damage, or wrong part), the core deposit will not be refunded and the core will be returned to you. You are responsible for return shipping costs. Please recycle or properly dispose of any drained fluids in accordance with local regulations.
10. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS — SUMMARY
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES: (A) OPENED OR USED FLUIDS, CHEMICALS, AEROSOLS, REFRIGERANTS, OR ANY CONSUMABLE PRODUCTS; (B) ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS THAT HAVE BEEN INSTALLED OR CONNECTED TO A VEHICLE; (C) SPECIAL-ORDER OR CUSTOM-CONFIGURED ITEMS; (D) ANY PART THAT HAS BEEN INSTALLED, USED, OR MODIFIED IN ANY WAY; (E) ITEMS RETURNED WITHOUT A VALID RMA NUMBER; (F) ITEMS RETURNED MORE THAN 30 DAYS AFTER THE DELIVERY DATE. SA RETAIL INC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY RETURN THAT DOES NOT MEET THESE CONDITIONS. ALL SALES OF SPECIAL-ORDER OR CUSTOM-CONFIGURED ITEMS ARE FINAL.
