If you’ve ever seen a bare A body frame you know they’re about as weak as you can imagine. Torsional twist is off the charts and front to rear flex is more than you would expect. In high power cornering and drag race launching situations this translates to a sloppy unpredictable feel and most important, lost time. Most folks think harder body bushings and swapping suspension parts takes care of those issues but that’s only part of the equation.

Note: FITMENT NOTES 68-72 Chevelle and A bodies. This kit is shipped unassembled so that you can create the perfect fit to your specific car. Welding skills are required for installation. Outside of drilling four small holes, there are no required modifications to the factory floor pan. Designed for 2-door A-bodies, because of differences in floor pans, kits will not fit 68-72 EL Caminos and Station Wagons.
