If you’re installing a T-56 in your Camaro or Firebird, the larger cases of modern transmissions requires transmission tunnel clearance to achieve the proper driveline angles. Doing this from scratch can be very time consuming, costly and often requires custom carpet and center consoles.To make this job as simple as possible you need our new Speedtech Transmission Tunnel Cover! With this simple yet effective design you can avoid the hassle and expense of a new tunnel, and have it installed and completed in a matter of only about an hour! It also works great for use with an aftermarket automatic shifter where a flat mounting surface is required. The Speedtech tunnel cover was designed for use with stock GM and our Pro Touring subframes and will fit under most center consoles. This cover even fits under a factory Camaro center console with minor mods to the inside of the console. The you-fit shifter hole design allows you to custom fit the cover specifically to your application and shifter location!

Note: The cover is constructed from laser cut 16 gauge sheet metal and all flanges have computer controlled bends. Corners are TIG welded for a clean look and superior strength. It can be installed easily with sheet metal screws, rivets, welded or panel bonded.
