TransGo Performance Automatic Transmission Valve Body Kit - 5R1-PLUG-PS

Early valve bodies contained five pressure switches that were never used or monitored by the computer. In later valve bodies, the switches were removed except for the one in the direct clutch circuit which now uses a plastic dummy plug. With the excessive high line pressure problems that plagues these units the switches as well as the plastic dummy plug often fail and create hydraulic leaks in the circuit. This kit includes five new aluminum plugs and O-rings in case you need one or all five. These plugs will replace either a pressure switch or a dummy plug. Replacing pressure switches that the computer never monitored in the first place with aluminum plugs is good preventive maintenance during overhaul.
